Explanation:
Total surface area of cylinder
= 2 πrh + 2 πr^2 = 2 π r(h + r)
∴ 2π r (h + r) = 3696
=> 2×22\7×r×42=3696
=> r = 3696×7\2×22×42 = 14 cm
∴ h = 42 – 12 = 28 cm
∴ Volume of cylinder = πr^2 h
= 227×14×14×28
= 17248 cu.cm
