Volume of the cylindrical jar = πr^2h
New volume on reducing height
= πr^2 × 64\100h = 16\25πr^2h
∴ If r^21 = 25\16r^2 ,the volume will not change.
∴ r1 = 5\4 = 1+1\4 i.e. increase of 25%
