→ Perimeter
⇒2(l+b)=46
Using formula
⇒(l+b)^2=l^2+b^2+2lb
⇒(23)^2=l^2+b^2+2×120
⇒529=l^2+b^2+240
⇒l^2+b^2=529−240
⇒l^2+b^2=289
⇒√l^2+b^2=√289
diagonal = 17
diagonal of carpet is 17 metres
