      1/24-1/36= 3-1/72

      According to Question

       

      Efficiency of leakage =3−2=1 L/h

       

      Half capacity = 72/2=36 litres

       

      Time taken by leakage to empty the Half filled tank

       

      =36 litres/1 liters/h=36hours
