What part of work Will 27 men do in 8 days ?

M1D1\W1 = M2D2\W2

=> 24×18\1 = 27×8\W2

W2 = 27×8\24×18 = 1\2

Remaining work = 1−1\2 = 1\2

This part of work is to be done by 14 women.

∴M1D1\W1 = M2D2\W2

=> 12×28\1 = 14×D2\ 1\2

=> 14×D2 = 1\2×12×28

=> D2 = 6×28\14 = 12 days
