It’s a safe-to-use uninstaller with great features that help you protect your PC from malware. And also, IObit Uninstaller has been in the market since 2004 and so, it’s definitely a legitimate product. If you are worried about its free version, you can go with the IObit Uninstaller Pro version which comes up with great and awesome features that can completely clean your PC from malware. And also contain what’s called: “PUP’s” Short for “Potentially Unwanted Program’s“ (I INCLUDED A SCREENSHOT) PUA’s and PUP’s are often MALICIOUS viruses, trojans, adware, malware, etc.. You can see for yourself at a website called: VirusTotal.com. This is an invaluable website! It tells you if programs are safe to install or not. I check every program I download before I install it with VirusTotal. When I uploaded IObit Uninstaller to it, it detected one PUA and one PUP. I Googled what VirusTotal detected as Malicious, and read confusing, and conflicting reports. I read that the detected applications and software within IObit Uninstaller were false positives and safe, and also read that the detected applications and software were not safe and malicious. This was a Red Flag for me, so I deleted it without installing it. If a software company is legit, why are unwanted programs, malicious or not, being detected? VirusTotal uses a lot of different antivirus/malware search engines when scanning a program. 4 different search engines detected malicious programs with IObit Uninstaller. MalwareBytes also detected it. I made every “VirusTotal” in this message a link to the website, so just click on it to go there. Good luck Eve! I hope this helps.
